This year, the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Our anniversary coincides with Poland’s 20th anniversary of membership in the European Union.

These two past decades have been exceptional for the Polish economy, and Scandinavian companies’ contribution to this success is significant.

This is a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the entities that have played an essential role in building strong economic ties between our countries and contributing to the development of the Polish market.

The SPCC 20th Anniversary Gala

More than 250 guests, including representatives of major Scandinavian investors, diplomats, and representatives of media and politics, participated in the 20th Anniversary Gala of the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce, held on September 12 at the Ufficio Primo in Warsaw.

The Gala, a crowning moment of the SPCC’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, was a time to cherish with the SPCC community on this special occasion. During the evening, the SPCC’s anniversary report  “Partnership, Knowledge Growth. The Impact of Scandinavian Companies on the Polish Economy” was launched.

The announcement of the winners of the Nordic Excellence Award enriched the evening.

Two guests of honour, Stefan Lindström, the first Ambassador for Digitization and New Technologies from the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Anna Pawlak-Kuliga, Global CFO of IKEA Retail – Ingka Group, shared with the audience their thoughts about the future and new technologies. Both speeches inspired and triggered reflections on fundamental values in the world of constant changes and the digital revolution.

The recital by Aga Zaryan, one of Poland’s best-known jazz vocalists, closed the evening.
